Insights of Bioeconomy: Biopolymer Evaluation Based on Sustainability Criteria

Abstract Sustainable development in the agriculture sector can be boosted by integrating a sustainable bioeconomy and transforming renewable resources into added-value products. There are various methods to determine, measure, compare extent of sustainability. We promote concept utilizing agricultural waste biopolymers considering sector. This research aims evaluate biopolymer alternatives based on sustainability criteria indicators using integrated multi-criteria decision analysis approach under umbrella. evaluated PLA, PHA/PHB, starch, protein, cellulose-based biopolymers. As result, shows best performance. The findings provide valuable information establish pathway for production industries.
